Osteoporosis is a condition where there is a loss of bone tissue leaving bones less dense and more likely to fracture. It can result in loss of physical growth in an individual’s body, severe back pain, and change in one’s posture as well as can cause prolonged or permanent disability. Although, there is no permanent care for the disease, the FDA has approved several injections, oils and, tablets to treat and alleviate osteoporosis. Some of the approved drugs are Prolia, Bonviva injection and Bonviva tablets.
