ABOUT THE BRAND

Founded back in 2002 by current CEO Phan Toan Thang, CEO Gavin Tan, as well as CMO Ivor Lim, CellResearch Corp is a biotechnology group that focuses on cord lining stem cell and skin cell research. They have the largest private scar, skin, and keloid-cell libraries in the world, and they are also being used for research by multiple cell culture labs all over the world, including such prestigious names as Harvard University, Johnson & Johnson, and Procter & Gamble. The company holds claim to 39 patents worldwide, as well as intellectual property for isolating stem cells from the umbilical cord lining membrane in all kinds of mammals. This also includes the cultivation and banking of the cells, and their therapeutic applications. The trio of founders had originally sold skin cell samples for the purpose of research, and by 2014 the company was reportedly worth $640 million.  

In 2004 the company isolated both mesenchymal and epithelial stem cells from the umbilical cord lining membrane, which was a novel discovery confirming that the umbilical cord lining membrane is the richest source of stem cells in the body.  

CellResearch Corporation are the manufactures of the Calecim cosmeceutical line of products, as well as many others.
